A secret grief

The greatest tragedy of life is that you don’t know what you had till it slips out of your grasp. You may have the perfect family and yet you hanker for your vision of other people’s perfect lives and squander your own in the process.

And the saddest bit is that grief is personal, its heavy burdens can only be shouldered by the person going through it…like your very own cross to bear.

Even if you want others to support you they can’t help you, simply because it’s a grief that haunts you and defines you, not anyone else, not even someone who has gone through the same pain.

Because each pain is different and unique. And answers to a different name. A secret one that no one gets apart from you.
